Hello fellow Cathedralites. I had the honor to spend one day a week over that last year, with my friend Martha as she gracefully battled the brain tumor that would take her from us. We had hours of gab time to reminisce about our friends, and all of you. She was not a reader or TV watcher, so we spent hours gabbing and laughing. I miss my friend, but felt it an exceptional gift to participate with her family in that final journey  Mary Jo Buttweiler

I'm so happy you were able to be with her during her final hours, Mary Jo. Her spirit for life was always so special. She was a gift to us all. I will miss our whistling contests. She always won! My heart goes out to all her family and loved ones.
