I was a stay at home mom for many years before I went into teaching. Tom's job with the National Guard brought us to Brainerd, Minnesota so I began teaching in the middle school here in Brainerd. I teach social studies and language arts. (Sister Martin would never believe this!) I love my job, but am still looking forward to retirement in a few years to enjoy traveling with Tom. My passion is quilting. I want to get into quilting artworks. I also volunteer in our community with an arts group.
I have four grandchildren who are wonderful. Being a grandparent is like falling in love all over again!
