Patrick . We all remember what a big smile you had and how you got the most out of life. How can we not forget how you loved to drive your car in the ditch out by St. Augusta with your buddies screaming and you laughing. I still remember right after you returned home from the service you obtained your pilot's license and took me for a airplane ride over St. Cloud with such comments and actions that lead one to believe you were, let's say less than a confident pilot....I guess the fear you instilled in me and the laughter that you had was payback for all the pranks I pulled on you in high school. Your sense of humor never left you even prior to your death...on our last vist in West Fargo, you, Dan and I had a great time covering our high school stories, that made us only realize all the more how much we will miss pulling pranks on you and waitng for your response...You greeted us on that visit with your usual big smile, big laugh and a comment "How do you like my color" Even though your jaundice/yellow skin tone and your loss of weight indicated how physically deminished you were, however, your sense of humor and love of making your friends laugh and smile was as healthy as ever.... Pat passed away just about Easter in the spring of 2004...I suspect he already has a long list of pranks he will pull on us when the rest of his friends join him. God Bless you Pat... T.P.
